The distinctive SMP number plates on our vehicles are a familiar sight most weekends at events around the UK and occasionally on mainland Europe. From local meetings to major fairs we will always come if the date is free.
Don't forget we are only able to come if you invite us. We always attend in person.

You can meet us at the National and all major Regional Fairs.

However, we cannot guarantee to have the entire content of the showroom with us and if you have a particular requirement just give us a phone call and the goods will be reserved for you to look at without any obligation to buy. We will also store your purchases until you are ready to leave.

Another successful and busy fair - this was the 17th run by John & Jennifer Ford.

The 2006 National Lacemakers Christmas Fair was the last to be held at the NEC.
Next year the Fair moves to a modern purpose built exhibition centre down the road at Solihull with free parking.

Three days after the Birmingham Fair, we were on our way to Holland
for the Dutch Lacemakers (LOKK) Christmas Market in Maarn near Amsterdam.

This annual event is a highlight in the lacemakers calendar and attracts traders from across Europe.
Here are a few of them.

Axel Zijp of Kleinhout
from Hoorn in Holland.

Theo Brejaart
from Rotterdam in Holland.

Dirk Heerholtz of Orchidee
from Kaulille in Belgium.

Jan Vandenweghe of Scharlaeken
from Brugge in Belgium.

We can relax here with many longstanding friends.
Time passes very quickly.
